Feeling nostalgic for the hardware of yesteryear, I decided to create this keyboard to poke some fun at skeuomorphic UI trends. What started as a joke among colleagues turned into a fun side project.
The design was done completely in Photoshop using vector shapes and layer styles. All said and done, there are over 600 layers in the PSD. I used global lighting, so it’s really easy to change the mood.
I used to play Half-Life on an old Dell keyboard much like this one!
